About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within our aerospace and industrial programs during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain insight into product development and engineering processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Valencia, California.
What you'll do#
- Support project engineers with planning and executing aerospace and industrial programs.
- Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
- Maintain project documentation such as meeting minutes, project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Gather and analyze data to support project status reporting.
- Assist with New Product Introduction activities and product development projects.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.
- Help identify and track project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for internal and customer project reviews.
- Conduct research to support business and project management objectives.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to help team efficiency.
- Complete special assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a strong interest in project management, manufacturing, engineering, or the aerospace industry.
Location & details#
- Location: Valencia, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Pay: $28 to $33 per hour.
