    About the role#

    As an intern with the Publications, Communications, and Marketing team, you will contribute to projects that inform policy and guide strategies in higher education. You will work 20 hours per week over a 12-week term. This role reports to the Ithaka S+R Marketing Manager.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify and research key audiences and higher education stakeholders to build contact lists.
    • Use communication strategies to engage with target audiences through LinkedIn and mass emails.
    • Assist with social media management and website updates.
    • Participate in team discussions to develop a broad understanding of Ithaka S+R projects.
    • Collaborate with your supervisor to define project tasks and deliverables.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a third- or fourth-year undergraduate or a graduate student.
    • Pursuit of a degree requiring strong writing, research, and critical thinking skills.
    • An interest in communications, marketing, and the mission of Ithaka S+R.
    • Ability to work in a remote, collaborative team environment.
    • Skills as a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills and a willingness to seek feedback.

    Location & details#

    • This is a remote position based in the continental United States.
    • The pay for this role is $25.00 per hour.
    • We are not offering immigration sponsorship for this position.
