    About the role#

    As an Oil Movements Engineering Co-op Student, you will gain hands-on experience supporting refinery operations. You will work alongside professionals in the Wastewater Treatment Unit, tank field, and flare area. This role involves a mix of field and office work to support the safe and reliable operation of refinery systems.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct routine monitoring and inspections of the Wastewater Treatment Unit, tank field, and flare area.
    • Support environmental compliance activities, including water quality testing and bioassays.
    • Collect, analyze, and track operational data to support process performance and improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare monthly reports and maintain accurate operational and environmental records.
    • Collaborate with OM and PLA operations teams.
    • Participate in field and office-based projects while following all health, safety, and environmental requirements.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in Chemical Engineering, completing your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
    • A safety-first mindset.
    • Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
    • Problem-solving skills and an interest in interpreting data to identify trends.
    • Proficiency with MS Office, with experience in Excel preferred.
    • Willingness to perform field work in an industrial setting.
    • A valid Canadian driver’s license.
