About the role#
The Investment Summer Associate works with the IQT team on deal sourcing, diligence, and drafting investment documents. You will contribute to market research in specific technology sectors and produce investment theses, presentations, and reports. This is a full-time, paid summer position.
What you'll do#
- Perform venture ecosystem outreach and promote the IQT brand to entrepreneurs, investors, and academics.
- Write assessments on prospective startup investment opportunities.
- Assist senior team members with transaction diligence and the preparation of investment memos.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, technology, and administrative teams to support deal execution.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research on venture-backed technology sectors.
What you'll need#
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a graduate degree is preferred.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- Ability to research, understand, and synthesize information about new technology sectors.
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for the IQT mission and the venture capital industry.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer of 2027.

- Locations: Menlo Park, CA; Cambridge, MA; or McLean, VA.
- Work modality: Hybrid (in office and teleworking).
- Compensation: $55 to $65 per hour, based on experience.
