About the role#
The International Team is looking for a Summer Associate to support our pre-deal process. You will help with diligence efforts, join meetings with prospective portfolio companies, and assist in creating deal documents. This role focuses on analyzing global trends and our existing work to help shape future investment strategies. Your contributions will help improve our brand presence and the value we provide to our government partners.
What you'll do#
- Help prepare IQTI products like meeting notes, COIs, and seed consult documents.
- Join diligence calls with pipeline companies and venture capital firms.
- Lead and assist with various analytical projects.
- Research global trends in venture capitalism and emerging technology.
- Review our current investments to assess technology areas, company locations, and customer impact.
- Develop a strategy for our future investment focus areas.
- Provide ad hoc support to the team as needed.
What you'll need#
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Preference for candidates pursuing a graduate degree in Business, International Operations, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, self-starter attitude.
- Prior experience or strong coursework in investing, venture capitalism, or entrepreneurship.

- Location: McLean, Virginia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-office and teleworking).
- Compensation: $55 to $65 per hour, based on experience.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
