About the role#
The program management team at IQT manages the success of technology development programs. They support the transition of technologies to the U.S. intelligence community from early-stage companies and startups. As an intern, you will assist the team with their daily operations and contribute to a cross-functional project focused on program execution and technology transfer.
What you'll do#
- Support the daily responsibilities of the program management team.
- Coordinate and execute administrative and technical meetings between IQT portfolio companies and government partners.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to learn about the IQT investment model and the lifecycle of technology investments.
- Participate in a cross-functional team project to address complex issues and improve how the organization approaches future programs.
What you'll need#
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Status as a rising Junior or Senior in a bachelor's degree program or equivalent experience. A graduate degree candidate in a STEM discipline is preferred.
- A systems thinking mindset and a track record of driving data-based change.
- Ability to solve problems and a desire to learn.
- Strong writing skills, with a preference for experience in technical or proposal writing.
- Comfort presenting complex technology topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- A basic understanding of project management and technology transfer challenges.
Location & details#
- Location: McLean, Virginia.
- Modality: Hybrid, involving both in-office and teleworking.
- Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour, based on experience.
- Term: Rolling.
