About the role#
The Engineering Intern supports the Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams at our manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on experience with equipment, process optimization, and operational problem-solving. You will work directly in a production setting to assist with engineering projects, data collection, and documentation.
What you'll do#
- Identify and implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Collect and analyze production performance data to support decision-making.
- Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process controls.
- Assist with equipment evaluations, process trials, and validation activities.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Observe workflows to identify efficiency opportunities and assist with troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an engineering degree, specifically in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report production data.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
