About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in Houston, Texas. You will join our team for a 9-week program starting in June 2027. This role is designed for students who want to gain hands-on experience in a global investment firm. You will work alongside industry professionals, participate in development workshops, and engage in networking events. Successful completion of the internship may make you eligible for a full-time offer in our Early Career Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Invesco business model, growth strategy, and daily operations.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and documentation to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Build core skills in analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
- Participate in meetings with the Early Careers operations team to share ideas and contribute to projects.
- Develop your technical aptitude and gain exposure to industry best practices, compliance standards, and ethical business conduct.
- Engage in cultural and management training, as well as community outreach or corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Immerse yourself in a modern business environment to prepare for your transition into a professional career.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation in spring or summer 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing situations, and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or Power BI is preferred.
- Exposure to SQL for database querying and Python or VBA for automation is a plus.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: This is an on-site position. Employees are expected to work from the office at least four days each week.
