About the role#
This internship offers a look into the daily operations and functions of a branch within the financial services industry. You will work alongside team members and leaders to gain experience in our business practices, including our specific approach to sales and customer service. The program aims to bridge the gap between classroom concepts and real-world application, while introducing you to potential long-term career paths at Republic Finance.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Republic Way sales and customer service approach.
- Participate in compliance and leadership training.
- Become licensed and complete an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program.
- Assist with loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation, auditing, and preparation.
- Work on one or more continuous improvement projects related to branch operations.
- Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand career progression.
- Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain broader organizational exposure.
- Learn about corporate roles, such as audit, compliance, training, and recruiting, where branch experience is valued.
- Interact with team members and leaders across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in college.
- Major in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work at least 18-20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, credit history check, and pre-employment drug screen.

- This role is based in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
- This is an on-site position.
- The internship is paid at $15.00 per hour.
- This is a part-time position with rolling terms.
