About the role#
This 9-week Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience within a global investment firm. You will work alongside teams to learn about the business, receive one-on-one mentorship, and participate in a cohort-based program featuring development workshops and networking events. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for the Early Career Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on specific tasks and initiatives.
- Attend team meetings, manage projects to meet deadlines, and present findings to management.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Seek feedback from mentors to support your professional growth.
- Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities.
- Use AI technologies to streamline manual processes, improve analysis, and support team execution.
- Share best practices to help teams incorporate AI into their daily work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, specifically a rising Junior graduating by summer 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in investments.
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Note that Invesco does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
- Experience with analytical thinking and creative problem solving.
- Proficiency in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
- Preferred experience includes prior internships in AI or investment management, gathering market data, and using Generative AI tools like Microsoft Studio or CoWork.
- Preferred technical skills include intermediate proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio, or Excel.
- Majors in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science are preferred.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027 (9 weeks).
- Modality: On-site. Employees are expected to work from the office at least four days each week.
- Compensation: $40 per hour.
