About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to join the Fixed Income Global Technology team at Invesco. You will work on software solutions that support global fixed income operations. The team operates in an Agile environment and collaborates with investment professionals across the U.S., U.K., and India. This is a full-time, paid summer position designed for students to gain hands-on experience in a global investment firm.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Invesco business model, growth strategy, and investment operations.
- Develop professional skills through networking, cultural training, and management workshops.
- Shadow end-to-end technology solutions and participate in team meetings.
- Build core capabilities in areas such as application development, web development, business analysis, project management, quality assurance, or infrastructure engineering.
- Apply your technical aptitude to project work and contribute ideas to the technology team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program as a Junior graduating by summer 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Technical course work and proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Leadership, initiative, and an ambitious, creative demeanor.
- Ability to work with others across teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations.
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, or Power BI is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Please note that Invesco does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site. Employees are expected to work from the office at least four days each week.
