About the role#
This is a 9-week full-time internship program starting in June 2027. You will join the Fixed Income Global Technology team, which supports investment strategies across quant research, municipals, and global liquidity. The team follows an Agile delivery model and works with partners across the U.S., U.K., and India to build and improve software solutions.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Invesco business model and growth strategy.
- Develop professional skills and build a network across the organization.
- Participate in cultural, technology, and management training sessions.
- Shadow end-to-end technology solutions.
- Build core capabilities in areas such as business analysis, application development, web development, quality assurance, or infrastructure engineering.
- Contribute ideas during meetings with the Early Careers technology team.
- Apply your technical aptitude and business insight to various project assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program as a junior, graduating by summer 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Technical course work in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and work with teams of varied strengths.
- Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Invesco does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship or assistance for this program.
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, or Excel is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
Location & details#
- This role is based in our Atlanta, Georgia office.
- This is an on-site position. Employees are expected to work in the office at least four full days each week.
- This is a paid internship.
