About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Corporate Services, Travel, and Events team. You will work alongside professionals at a global investment firm, contributing to projects that improve operational efficiency and employee experiences. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Lead technology-focused initiatives to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Plan and execute employee events, meetings, and engagement activities.
- Build Cvent registration sites, manage attendee information, and prepare event reports.
- Assist with venue sourcing, catering workflows, and conference-center logistics.
- Support event registration desks and welcome guests at the Atlanta office.
- Prepare monthly North American event-volume and spend reports for leadership.
- Analyze travel data and contribute to program-performance reviews.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers on strategic projects.
- Track budgets and develop executive presentation materials using PowerPoint.
- Research industry practices to identify opportunities for service-delivery improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date by summer 2028.
- Academic or practical background in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Interest in corporate services, hospitality, data analysis, or process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel functions for data organization.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and business-storytelling skills.
- Proactive, service-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work on-site in the Atlanta office.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Note that Invesco does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
