About the role#
The Nasdaq MarketSite Events Team manages and executes events for listed companies and clients at our Times Square headquarters. As an intern, you will support the day-to-day operations of this team. You will gain exposure to our full event portfolio, including Opening and Closing Bell ceremonies, investor days, board meetings, and receptions. This is a full-time summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist guests at Opening and Closing Bell ceremonies to ensure a professional experience.
- Shadow Event Specialists to learn how we manage various event types.
- Support the execution of photo opportunities, bell viewing groups, and bookings that arise on short notice.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as reviewing agendas, guest lists, and event details in project management tools.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, or a related field.
- You have an interest in events, hospitality, client service, or broadcast production.
- You possess strong communication skills and a polished presence when working with clients.
- You can multitask, stay organized, and make decisions under pressure.
- You have basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You are comfortable learning new platforms like Salesforce or Monday.com.
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, or student leadership roles is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in New York City.
- The position requires you to be on-site 5 days a week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
