About the role#
This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college who want to learn the basics of campus ministry. You will work within the Wisconsin Northeast Area to develop your leadership skills, grow in biblical knowledge, and mature as a disciple. This is a paid, full-time position that requires personal fundraising to secure your salary.
What you'll do#
- Engage with your campus ministry team to cast vision and set direction.
- Help carry out plans for spiritual growth and transformation on campus.
- Teach students how to study and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the mission by seeking opportunities to share the Gospel.
- Serve as an ambassador for InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches.
- Assist with reporting and other administrative tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and can annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You possess leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, and cultural competence.
- You are eager to learn and work well within a team.
- You maintain professionalism in your communication and relational interactions.
