About the role#
This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a college program to learn the fundamentals of campus ministry. The role focuses on spiritual growth, leadership development, and gaining experience in ministry skills. Interns are expected to develop daily spiritual disciplines, participate in a worshipping community, and discern their call to ministry service.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the campus ministry team to help cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Contribute to the team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by proclaiming the Gospel and guiding chapters in strategic thinking.
- Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their appreciation for diverse cultures and ethnicities.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, particularly those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Engage with training and supervision provided by your director or staff ministry trainer.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and churches.
What you'll need#
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ.
- Ability to annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism.
- Leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Enrollment as a student at a four-year or community college (specific year standing requirements apply based on institution type).

- Compensation: This is a paid position funded through personal fundraising. Compensation varies based on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
