About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry. It is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college who wish to grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and leadership skills. You will work under the supervision of a staff ministry trainer or director to develop your ministry experience and discern a potential call to service.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus to advance witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse.
- Seek opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their appreciation for people of every ethnicity and culture.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students.
- Serve as an ambassador of the organization to individual ministry partners and churches.
- Engage with training and supervision provided by ministry staff.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the organization’s Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, and teamwork.
- You are currently enrolled in a college or university. (Second-year students and community college students may intern at two-year or community colleges; third-year students and higher may work at four-year or community colleges.)

- Locations: Michigan, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling start dates.
- Compensation: This is a paid position funded through personal fundraising. Actual compensation depends on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
