Student Intern - Upper Peninsula MI (Undergraduate Ministry)

About the role#

This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry. The role is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. Eligibility requirements vary by academic standing and the type of institution attended.

What you'll do#

• Participate and engage with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
• Promote the organization's mission by advancing witnessing communities that are broader, bolder, and ethnically diverse.
• Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ while guiding chapters in strategic thinking.
• Model and encourage a prayerful lifestyle, specifically focusing on outreach to those who do not yet follow Jesus.
• Serve as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches by discussing mission efforts and accomplishments.
• Engage with supervision and training provided by staff ministry trainers or directors.

What you'll need#

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ.
• Ability to annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, and relational maturity.
• Academic majors such as Psychology, Political Science, or Communications are relevant to the role.
