Student Intern - San Diego Region

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity for students to learn the foundations of college campus ministry. The role is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college, with specific standing requirements based on the institution type. This is a part-time, on-site position located in the Southern California region. Please note that compensation for this role is funded through personal fundraising, and final pay is dependent on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and develop plans for growth and transformation.
• Teach students to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
• Promote the mission on campus by working to build witnessing communities that are ethnically diverse and bold.
• Model and assist students and faculty in growing their appreciation for diverse cultures and ethnicities.
• Engage in regular training and supervision with your assigned staff ministry director.
• Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and local churches.

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and annually affirm the Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism and a desire to grow in spiritual understanding and ministry skills.
• Leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Ability to maintain a prayerful lifestyle and pursue spiritual growth.

• Location: Southern California.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Part-time.
• Compensation: $15.06 - $20.08 per hour, contingent upon personal fundraising.
