About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry. The role is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. Depending on your academic standing, you will support ministry efforts at either a two-year or four-year institution. You will develop your spiritual understanding, ministry skills, and leadership capabilities while discerning a potential call to ministry service.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and execute plans for growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by helping to build witnessing communities that are ethnically diverse and bold.
- Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ while encouraging a prayerful lifestyle among students.
- Model and assist students and faculty in growing their appreciation for diverse cultures and ethnicities.
- Engage in ongoing training and supervision with your director or staff ministry trainer.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and churches.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and can annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
- You possess a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cross-cultural competence, and relational maturity.
- You show professionalism, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Relevant academic backgrounds include Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, English, or Philosophy.

- Compensation: This is a paid position funded through personal fundraising. Your total compensation will vary based on your ability to secure a donor team to fund the cost of your salary.
