Student Intern (Nurses Christian Fellowship)

About the role#

This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry. It is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. Eligibility depends on your academic standing: second-year students may intern at two-year or community colleges, while third-year students and above may work at either four-year or community colleges. Non-InterVarsity students attending a Christian college must have third or fourth-year standing.

What you'll do#

• Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to the accomplishment of the campus ministry team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Promote the mission on campus by advancing witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse.
• Engage positively with the supervision and training provided by staff ministry trainers or directors.

What you'll need#

• Be a follower of Jesus Christ.
• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrate campus ministry leadership qualities, including initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.

• Compensation: This is a paid position funded through personal fundraising. Compensation varies based on the ability to secure a donor team.
