Student Intern - Mid-Michigan Area Team (Undergraduate Ministry)

About the role#

This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college who are interested in learning the foundations of campus ministry. You will work with the Mid-Michigan Area Team to grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and leadership skills. This is a paid, part-time position that requires the intern to raise a donor team to fund their salary.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the campus ministry team to help cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to the team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation on campus.
• Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
• Promote the mission of the organization by seeking opportunities to demonstrate the Gospel.
• Guide chapter segments in developing strategic thinking regarding campus witness.
• Model and assist students in growing in their love for people of every ethnicity and culture.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, particularly those who do not yet follow Jesus.
• Serve as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches.
• Engage with the supervision and training provided by your staff ministry director.

What you'll need#

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, self-awareness, cross-cultural competence, and relational maturity.
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
