Student Intern-Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska (Undergraduate & Faculty Ministry)

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of college campus ministry. The role is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college who wish to grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and ministry leadership. Interns will develop daily spiritual disciplines and discern their potential call to ministry service.

What you'll do#

• Participate and engage with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to the accomplishment of the team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ on campus.
• Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for people of every ethnicity and culture.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students.
• Engage with supervision and training from staff ministry trainers and directors.
• Serve as an ambassador of the organization to individual ministry partners and churches.

What you'll need#

• A follower of Jesus Christ.
• Annually affirm the organization’s Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, self-awareness, communication skills, professionalism, and cross-cultural competence.
• Current enrollment in a college program (specific year requirements apply based on institution type).

• Locations: Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Part-time, paid position.
• Note: Compensation is funded through personal fundraising; actual pay depends on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
