About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry. It is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college who wish to develop their leadership skills, spiritual understanding, and ministry experience. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast vision and contribute to ministry plans.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by seeking opportunities to proclaim the Gospel and guiding chapters in strategic thinking.
- Model and assist students in growing their appreciation for diverse cultures and ethnicities.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students.
- Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches by discussing mission efforts and accomplishments.
- Engage with supervision and training provided by staff ministry trainers.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and are able to annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, cultural awareness, and strong communication skills.
- Current enrollment in a college or university (third-year students and higher are eligible for four-year or community college placements; second-year students are eligible for community college placements).

- Location: California (Greater Los Angeles area, Pepperdine Greek).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Actual compensation varies based on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
