Student Intern - Greater Los Angeles (Pepperdine Greek)

About the role#

This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry. The position is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college to develop their leadership skills, deepen their biblical knowledge, and discern a potential call to ministry service. This is a paid, part-time position.

What you'll do#

• Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast vision and contribute to ministry plans.
• Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
• Promote the mission on campus by proclaiming the Gospel and fostering ethnically diverse communities.
• Learn to guide chapters in developing strategic thinking regarding their witness to the university.
• Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their appreciation for diverse cultures and ethnicities.
• Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and churches.
• Engage with supervision and training provided by staff ministry trainers.

What you'll need#

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and willing to annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, self-awareness, communication skills, and cross-cultural competence.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professional standards.
• Current enrollment in a college or university (third-year students or higher are eligible for four-year or community college assignments; second-year students are eligible for community college assignments).

• Compensation: This position is funded through personal fundraising; actual compensation depends on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
