About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry at SFSU. You will work alongside the campus ministry team to develop your leadership skills, grow in biblical knowledge, and mature as a disciple. This role is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to support spiritual vision and direction.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by seeking opportunities to proclaim the Gospel.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, particularly those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Serve as an ambassador of the organization to ministry partners and churches.
- Assist with reporting tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
- You possess a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, and cross-cultural competence.
- Ideal candidates have a background in fields such as Philosophy, Psychology, Communications, Sociology, Political Science, Human Resources, History, or Art.
