About the role#
Interstates is hiring a Manufacturing Intern to join the team in Omaha. This role focuses on the fabrication of control system panels. You will work on-site and provide direct support to Interfab while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and construct panels from initial layout to final completion.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Provide direct support to the Interfab team.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- An electrical background or related experience.
- Two or more years of fabrication experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfort working in environments with moderate noise levels and potential risks of electrical shock.

- This position is based in Omaha, Nebraska.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
- Minimal travel is required.
