About the role#
We are looking for a Manufacturing Intern to join our team in Sioux Center. You will focus on the fabrication of control system panels and provide direct support to Interfab. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and construct panels from initial layout to final completion.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Provide direct support to the Interfab team.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- An electrical background or related experience.
- Two or more years of fabrication experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- A commitment to safety standards, as the work involves a risk of electrical shock and moderate noise levels.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Sioux Center, Iowa.
- The position requires minimal travel.
- You can expect to work 45 to 50 hours per week.
