About the role#
The Field Operations Section (FOS) of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI) manages projects within the Capacity Development and Implementation Programme. This internship involves supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of civil aviation projects. The role is full-time, lasts for six months, and is based on-site in Montreal. Interns receive a stipend, though they are responsible for all living, travel, and insurance expenses.
What you'll do#
- Maintain document repositories, reporting tools, and project management systems.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecast tables and reporting requirements.
- Draft correspondence and documentation for new and ongoing project implementation.
- Support the organization of the CDI Global Implementation Support Symposium.
- Prepare marketing and promotional materials.
- Manage inventory and resources for conference booths and events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in civil aviation, management, economics, international relations, engineering, or computer science.
- Fluency in English, including strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- A working knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish is considered an asset.
- Ability to work on a full-time, five-day-a-week schedule.
