About the role#
The Administrative Fellowship in Value Based Care is a 12-month, full-time experiential program running from July 2027 to July 2028. This role provides postgraduate professionals with a personalized, immersive experience within the Desert Region. Fellows spend 70% of their time on region-specific rotations and projects, including medical group operations, risk adjustment, contracting, and clinical operations. The remaining 30% is dedicated to leadership development, mentoring, and enterprise-wide collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Lead a project or sprint involving healthcare operations or team management.
- Participate in transformational changes to improve operational efficiency, patient care, or clinical outcomes.
- Engage in strategic planning and decision-making processes, including the implementation of new initiatives or process optimization.
- Influence and collaborate across various departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Define a personal leadership brand and growth plan while building a professional network of mentors and peers.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, or a related field, obtained no earlier than Spring 2026.
- Demonstrated experience in analytics, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet software, databases, and email applications.
- For programs requiring a fellowship prior to graduation, all coursework must be completed by July 2027.
