About the role#
This is a hands-on Summer Internship focused on Ecommerce Operations within our luxury fashion marketplace, Italist. You will move beyond planning and documentation to execute projects directly, testing new initiatives and iterating based on data. This role is designed for individuals who want to develop skills rapidly across account management, conversion rate optimization, pricing strategy, and business intelligence. We are open to current students, recent graduates, and those making a career pivot.
What you'll do#
- Pilot projects from our backlog by launching initiatives, testing for success, and presenting results to determine long-term investment.
- Analyze business data to extract insights and provide data-backed recommendations for operational improvements.
- Build and manage reporting dashboards, set up monitoring alerts, and query data to support decision-making.
- Utilize AI tools to write code, develop prototypes, manage API integrations, and create automations.
What you'll need#
- Experience building with AI tools on the side and a desire to apply these skills to real-world business problems.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in launching startups or running your own business.
- A willingness to work hard to accelerate your professional development.
- Ability to thrive in chaotic environments and adapt quickly to new challenges.
- A preference for hands-on execution over following established playbooks or seeking constant mentorship.
- Academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or Operations Management.

- This is a full-time, remote-first position based in Canada.
- The internship term is Summer 2026.
