About the role#
Innovative Chemical Products Group is looking for a National Account Manager to lead growth and partnership development within Dealer and Co-op accounts. You will manage a portfolio of national accounts, identify new business opportunities, and act as a primary advisor to corporate stakeholders and field partners. This role requires a focus on building scalable sales programs and driving revenue within the independent channel.
What you'll do#
- Cultivate and expand strategic partnerships with Distributors and Co-ops in the Independent Channel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for national account headquarters.
- Strengthen relationships with co-op merchants, category managers, and field teams.
- Analyze POS data, market trends, and competitive activity to inform account strategy.
- Design and execute targeted promotions, rebate programs, and dealer incentives.
- Lead field engagement initiatives to increase brand adoption and sell-through.
- Manage line reviews, product launches, and account onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product assortment and logistics with account requirements.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in national account management, ideally in building materials, hardware, or retail distribution.
- Direct experience working with Distributors and Co-ops in the Independent Channel.
- A track record of managing large, complex accounts and driving growth.
- Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship-building.
- Ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
