About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests at our San Francisco depot. This role involves managing the end-to-end rental experience, from welcoming travelers and explaining vehicle features to maintaining our fleet of campervans. You will gain hands-on experience in tourism operations, customer service, and logistics while supporting the daily functions of our depot.
What you'll do#
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, including registration and payment processing.
- Explain campervan functionalities, rental terms, and upsell road trip extras.
- Align reservations with available inventory and prepare vehicles and kits for departure.
- Maintain campervans in top condition by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
- Support the team in monitoring stock levels, coordinating the fleet, and troubleshooting operational issues.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Possession of a work permit, if applicable.
- Strong customer service orientation and a talent for connecting with people.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
- Interest in international environments and working with diverse cultures.
