About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern, you will be the primary point of contact for guests at our San Francisco depot. This role involves managing the end to end customer experience, from welcoming travelers to ensuring their campervan is ready for the road. You will gain hands-on experience in tourism operations, fleet management, and customer service.
What you'll do#
- Manage check-ins and check-outs, including guest registration and payment processing.
- Explain campervan functionalities and rental terms to customers.
- Upsell road trip extras to enhance the guest experience.
- Align reservations with available inventory and prepare campervans and kits for upcoming rentals.
- Maintain the fleet in top condition by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
- Support the team with stock monitoring, fleet coordination, and troubleshooting operational issues.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- A valid work permit for the United States, if applicable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
