Tourism & Operations Intern - San Francisco

About the role#

As a Tourism & Operations Intern, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests at the San Francisco depot. This role involves managing the full customer experience, from initial check-in to final check-out, while ensuring the campervan fleet is prepared and maintained for road trips.

What you'll do#

• Customer Service & Sales: Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and explain campervan features and terms. You will also upsell road trip extras to enhance the guest experience.
• Operations: Coordinate reservations with available inventory and prepare campervans, kits, and extras for upcoming trips.
• Quality Control: Inspect and maintain campervans to ensure they remain in top condition, addressing maintenance or repair needs as they arise.
• Fleet Support: Monitor stock levels, assist in coordinating the vehicle fleet, and troubleshoot operational challenges.

What you'll need#

• Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and a valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Possession of a valid work permit, if applicable.
• Strong customer service orientation with a talent for connecting with people.
• A practical, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to handle hands-on tasks.
