About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern at the Los Angeles depot, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests. This role offers hands-on experience in the RV and campervan rental industry, focusing on both front-office customer interactions and back-office operational logistics.
What you'll do#
- Customer Service & Sales: Manage the check-in and check-out process, register guests, process payments, and explain campervan functionalities and rental terms. You will also upsell road trip extras.
- Operations: Align reservations with available inventory and prepare campervans, kits, and road trip extras for guests.
- Quality Control: Maintain the fleet in top condition by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
- Fleet Support: Monitor stock levels, coordinate the campervan fleet, and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health, Sociology, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- A work permit, if applicable.
- A strong customer service orientation with a talent for connecting with people from diverse international backgrounds.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
