About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern at the Los Angeles depot, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests. This role offers hands-on experience in the RV and campervan rental industry, requiring a blend of customer service, logistical coordination, and fleet maintenance.
What you'll do#
- Manage front-office tasks including guest check-ins and check-outs, payment processing, and registration.
- Explain campervan functionalities and rental terms to guests while upselling road trip extras.
- Coordinate reservations with available inventory and prepare vehicles and equipment for departures.
- Maintain the fleet by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
- Support the team with stock monitoring, fleet coordination, and troubleshooting operational challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Health, Sociology, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Possession of a valid work permit, if applicable.
- A strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
