Tourism & Operations Intern

About the role#

As a Tourism & Operations Intern at our Los Angeles depot, you will serve as the primary point of contact for travelers. This role offers hands-on experience in the RV and campervan rental industry, requiring a blend of customer service, logistics, and operational support to ensure guests have a seamless road trip experience.

What you'll do#

• Manage customer check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and register guests.
• Explain campervan functionalities and rental terms to customers, while identifying opportunities to upsell road trip extras.
• Align reservations with available fleet inventory and prepare vehicles and kits for upcoming rentals.
• Maintain the fleet in top condition by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
• Support the operations team by monitoring stock levels, coordinating the fleet, and troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues.

What you'll need#

• Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and a valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Possession of a valid work permit, if applicable.
• A strong customer service orientation with a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to handle hands-on operational tasks.
