About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern at the Los Angeles depot, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests. This role offers hands-on experience in the RV and campervan rental industry, requiring a mix of customer service, sales, and operational support to ensure high-quality road trip experiences.
What you'll do#
- Manage customer check-ins and check-outs, including guest registration and payment processing.
- Explain campervan functionalities and rental terms to guests while upselling road trip extras.
- Coordinate reservations with available inventory and prepare campervans, kits, and extras for upcoming trips.
- Maintain the fleet in top condition by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
- Support the team in monitoring stock levels, coordinating the fleet, and troubleshooting operational issues.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- A work permit for the United States, if applicable.
- A strong customer service orientation with a talent for connecting with people.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to perform hands-on tasks.
- Interest in working within international environments.
