About the role#
As a County Manager Associate Intern, you will work directly with County Farm Bureau managers. This role provides an opportunity to learn about the responsibilities of a manager while contributing to the daily operations of the organization. You will gain experience through corporate projects, meeting participation, and networking with leaders across the company.
What you'll do#
- Help plan programs and events for our members.
- Prepare materials and information for board meetings.
- Attend monthly board meetings.
- Lead a specific membership engagement project.
- Work some nights and weekends as required by the schedule of events.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field.
- You are interested in a future career as a County Farm Bureau manager.
- You are a self-starter who stays organized.
- You communicate effectively with others.
- You are available to work full-time from late May 2027 through early August 2027.
Location & details#
- This position is remote.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The internship may be extended on a part-time basis through the Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 terms.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
