    About the role#

    The Ag Law Clerk Intern supports the legal team at the Illinois Farm Bureau. You will gain experience by working on projects that affect Illinois farmers and the agricultural industry. This is a paid, full-time opportunity that offers exposure to corporate legal operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Research and assist with legal issues such as property rights, renewable energy, and environmental regulation.
    • Help with zoning, drainage, and real estate matters.
    • Support the team with corporate governance tasks.
    • Assist with lobbying efforts.
    • Review general contracts.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as a 1st year student in a JD program.
    • A genuine interest in Agricultural Law.
