    About the role#

    As an Ag in the Classroom Intern, you will work with educational professionals to create resources that support agricultural literacy in Illinois. You will receive mentorship while working on projects that reach teachers and students across the state. This role provides hands-on experience in program development and educational outreach.

    What you'll do#

    • Create social media campaigns for the upcoming school year.
    • Write educational materials covering agriculture and education topics.
    • Assist with the coordination of virtual and in-person summer teacher trainings.
    • Help develop lesson plans and assist with event planning.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a degree in agriculture, education, or a related field.
    • Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond.
    • Ability to work full-time from late May 2027 to early August 2027.
    • Basic knowledge of the agriculture industry and the education system.
    • Basic graphic design skills.
    • Effective writing skills for various audiences.
