About the role#
This internship provides Ilisagvik College students with professional experience and the opportunity to build local career connections. This is a temporary, part-time position for the Fall 2026 semester, requiring an average of 20 hours per week for a total of 200 hours.
What you'll do#
- Provide support on tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor.
- Assist department staff with programs, services, and daily operations.
- Prepare project reports and progress summaries.
- Conduct special research in conjunction with specific projects and analyze the gathered data.
- Use software applications to create departmental communications and reports.
- Attend meetings and trainings to acquire new skills and knowledge.

- Current enrollment at Ilisagvik College.
- A minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Ability to travel periodically as required by the role.
- Strong punctuality and accountability.
- Ability to interact effectively in a multicultural environment and engage in Iñupiat cultural activities.
- Adherence to all college policies, regulations, and administrative directives.
- Capacity to multitask and maintain a professional, constructive attitude.
