About the role#
IKO North America is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Brampton, Ontario. You will work primarily Monday through Friday during day shifts.
What you'll do#
- Create process flow charts, work instructions, and control plans.
- Support the process engineering team in optimizing plant performance.
- Assist with troubleshooting plant issues and developing solutions using Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Manage process data using company tools and provide daily reports on plant status.
- Collect data to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and present summary reports, performance metrics, and graphical presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering program as a 3rd or 4th year student.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for written, verbal, and presentation tasks.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to establish priorities and manage tasks effectively.
- Prior co-op or internship experience is preferred.
