About the role#
The Elvis Duran Morning Show internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in broadcast media production. This is a paid, part-time, remote role designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the media industry. Interns serve as apprentices across various functions, including audio production, phone operations, social media, and video production.
What you'll do#
- Assist in uploading and managing the Elvis Duran On Demand Podcast Channel.
- Create sound bites and best-of clips from show segments.
- Write weekly Horoscopes and design graphics for Instagram.
- Develop a National Day prep sheet for on-air staff.
- Edit morning show segments using Adobe Premiere for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Collaborate with the team on general office tasks and project coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate at a four-year college, ideally majoring in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong editing abilities and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- A genuine career interest in the media industry.
