This internship offers exposure to a broad range of media and radio disciplines. You will gain hands-on experience by rotating through various radio functions or focusing on a specific area such as sales, programming, or events. This is a paid, remote position with rolling admissions.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and analysis on brand and talent social media strategies.
- Provide weekly digital reports for executive summaries within the radio division.
- Participate in weekly presentations for talents, programmers, and shows.
- Assist in developing and broadening interest in iHeartMedia across social platforms.
- Learn job processes and requirements within assigned functions while serving as a research apprentice for digital marketing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate (rising Junior or Senior) at a four-year college with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or Journalism.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms including X, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and Pinterest.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread and edit.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with a focus on detail and the ability to prioritize urgent tasks.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while demonstrating leadership in peer relationships.
