About the role#
The Summer Intern program at iHeartMedia provides students with exposure to a broad range of media and radio disciplines. Interns serve as apprentices within the company, gaining hands-on experience in radio functions while learning job processes and requirements. This is a paid, on-site seasonal opportunity for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various radio functions or focus on a specific area such as sales, programming, or events.
- Conduct research and analysis to support team initiatives.
- Assist with general office tasks and administrative duties.
- Prepare and deliver reports as required by the team.
- Collaborate with other interns on specific projects.
- Learn and apply professional job processes in your assigned function.
What you'll need#
- Education: Must be a full-time undergraduate (rising Junior or Senior) at a four-year college with a minimum 3.2 GPA. Majors in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism are preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening, proofreading, and editing abilities.
- Organization: Strong planning and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and major social media platforms.
- Professionalism: Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively with others.
- Requirements: A college transcript and a letter from your school confirming that you will receive academic credit for the internship are required.
- Experience: Prior work experience in the media field is considered a plus.
