About the role#
As a Solar Finance Intern, you will support the financial engine behind our solar business. You will work alongside the Solar Finance team on reporting, modeling, presentations, and special projects that help the team make informed business decisions. This is a hands-on role for students who enjoy solving problems and working with data.
What you'll do#
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting for internal stakeholders and external debt and equity partners.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and support special projects as business needs arise.
- Update financial models, reporting templates, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Review work for accuracy, apply corrections, and proactively communicate progress.
- Partner with team members across Finance and the business to understand solar operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, nested IF statements, and Boolean logic.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is remote.
