About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience in new business development within the energy industry. You will receive training on commodities and sales techniques through mentorship and direct experience. This role focuses on developing the skills needed for a professional sales career.
What you'll do#
- Prospect to build new business relationships.
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contracting.
- Work directly with customers to provide natural gas and power solutions.
- Manage your own product pricing and profitability.
- Collaborate with a supportive team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Business Administration degree with a 3.0 GPA.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
- Ability to communicate professionally through calls and email.
- Independent, motivated, and competitive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Sales experience is a plus.

- Locations: Dublin, Ohio, or Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Modality: Full-time and on-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with eligibility for uncapped sales commission.
