About the role#
ICF is seeking an Operations Associate Intern to join the Administrative Operations Services team. You will support strategic initiatives focused on business process improvement, AI enablement, and operational modernization. This 10-week, full-time internship runs from early June through early August. You will work alongside subject matter experts to advance operational effectiveness and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to support business decisions.
- Document business processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization.
- Support AI enablement, reporting, governance, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Assist with data collection, validation, and reporting tasks.
- Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and project deliverables.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, tracking action items and project progress.
- Prepare findings, recommendations, and executive-ready deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 30 college-level credit hours in Business, Operations Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Administration, Engineering, or Economics.
- A completed bachelor's degree with enrollment verification or 9 credit hours completed in a relevant graduate program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, or SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Coursework or experience in business analysis, project management, or process improvement.
- Interest in AI, automation, and operational excellence.
