About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern, you will design, code, and test component-level software solutions. You will work in an Agile environment to understand stakeholder requirements and deliver software that meets those needs. This role involves working with both proven and new technologies to support digital transformation.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and unit test software components to ensure they are ready for integration.
- Create and test code fixes to resolve customer-reported problems.
- Collaborate with team members to understand and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Participate in the development of automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Work across front-end and back-end development tasks.
- Support L3 engineering activities and DevOps practices.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of component-level software design, coding, and testing.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Exposure to front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting customer issues.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in Markham, Ontario, and Toronto, Ontario.
- Work is performed in a hybrid model.
