About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work on cybersecurity challenges across areas like cloud security, identity management, and threat detection. You will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise-scale programs while developing technical and business expertise. This is a full-time, paid position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation of security solutions for clients and stakeholders while addressing regulatory and compliance issues.
- Observe and learn from industry trends to expand your knowledge in key security areas.
- Engage in identifying risks and assist in developing mitigation plans under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in defining business-driven security strategies and roadmaps.
- Interact with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and support business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with implementing security solutions and basic comprehension of business-driven security strategies.
- Awareness of current industry trends in cybersecurity.
- Curiosity about identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Exposure to interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Business acumen and familiarity with organizational objectives.
- Certifications in key cybersecurity areas are beneficial but not required.
