About the role#
As an IBM Consulting FutureNow Center Intern, you will work with experienced professionals to solve business and technology challenges for global clients. You will gain hands-on experience and build professional skills while contributing to projects in a collaborative environment. This role is designed to prepare students for a potential full-time career with IBM Consulting after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Help organizations modernize financial processes and improve operational performance.
- Drive business transformation using technology, data, and innovation.
- Support initiatives focused on financial operations, business performance, reporting, process optimization, and digital transformation.
- Work alongside consultants, finance professionals, and technology specialists to address real business challenges.
- Gain exposure to clients across sectors such as healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, and manufacturing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or Engineering.
- Foundational understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, or business performance management.
- Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and solve problems using a structured approach.
- Exposure to data analysis, reporting, business processes, or finance-related projects through coursework, student organizations, case competitions, or internships.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, spreadsheets, business intelligence, or financial systems.
- Understanding of how technology, automation, data, and Artificial Intelligence support business transformation.
- Interest in consulting, business strategy, and digital transformation.
