About the role#
As an Intern Application Consultant, you will contribute to real client projects across diverse industries. You will work alongside experienced IBMers to develop technical expertise and consulting skills. This role offers the opportunity to build a professional portfolio and gain insights into business transformation. High-performing interns may be considered for the IBM Associate Program.
What you'll do#
- Conduct primary research to help clients understand market trends and competitive strategies.
- Design models to support operational improvements and client experience.
- Document requirements by supporting workshops, meetings, and interviews.
- Shadow product teams and assist with enterprise-wide data integrations.
- Contribute to data analytics assessments.
- Participate in cloud migration and system implementation projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage workloads in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and effective communication through active listening.
- A growth mindset and the initiative to seek new knowledge.
- Ability to identify solutions using a creative and logical approach.
- Exposure to cloud and AI concepts, such as Azure services, data platforms, security, and AI models.
- Experience with AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to assist with research and productivity.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
