About the role#
As a Co-Op Package Specialist, you will work on client projects within IBM Consulting. This position focuses on the Oracle Finance Cloud and provides hands-on experience in technology consulting. You will gain exposure to diverse industries and work alongside teams to help clients improve their systems and strategies. This role is based on-site in State College, PA.
What you'll do#
- Conduct primary research to help teams analyze market trends and competitive strategies.
- Support operational improvements by designing models to increase efficiency.
- Assist in workshops, meetings, and interviews to document client requirements.
- Shadow product teams and observe enterprise-wide data integrations.
- Contribute to data analytics assessments and participate in cloud migration and system implementations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree with a record of academic success.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage workloads in an agile environment.
- A growth mindset with the initiative to seek new knowledge.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Effective communication skills, specifically through active listening.
- A willingness to adapt and take ownership of tasks.
- Interest in or experience with SAP software.
- Foundational quantitative analysis skills and the ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Exposure to at least one of the following: ABAP, SAP BTP JavaScript, HTML, XML, or SQL.
Location & details#
- Location: University Park, Pennsylvania (State College).
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week during the academic year, with potential for up to 40 hours during academic breaks.
- Employment: Paid, full-time co-op position.
