About the role#
As a Co-Op Package Consultant, you will join IBM Consulting to work on client projects. This role focuses on helping clients navigate their hybrid cloud and AI journeys. You will gain professional experience, build your portfolio, and work with teams to address client challenges. The program includes a 10-week summer term from May to July 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct primary research and collaborate with teams to assist clients.
- Support operational improvements and design models for client experience.
- Assist with workshops, meetings, and interviews while documenting client requirements.
- Shadow product teams and observe enterprise-wide data integrations.
- Contribute to data analytics assessments.
- Participate in cloud migration and system implementation projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program.
- Interest in and knowledge of SAP software through projects or prior experience.
- Foundational quantitative analysis skills and the ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Leadership experience and a growth mindset.
- Ability to manage workloads in an agile environment and take ownership of tasks.
- Exposure to programming technologies such as ABAP, SAP BTP JavaScript, HTML, XML, or SQL is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: University Park, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to work on-site in State College, PA.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
